Francine Nichols is the school counselor at South Park Elementary in Moberly, Missouri. We
had tried to speak with her about these same issues many times and she ignored us, now she is having an "issue" once Ron is
back in Iowa. Right here, she finally sees the issues for what they really were and states that Brandon's attendance
was better when he was involved. Brandon was never late nor missed any days while with us. Nor did Chelsea.
Kayela apparently told the school that the reason the children missed so much school was due to court
dates. The children NEVER attended any court dates. Further, there were no court dates for Kayela after the modification
order was signed on October 15/03, this report was done in Feb of 04 after Ron and I moved back to Iowa.
We told the school that Kayela was not treating the lice, many times! We kept treating it at
our house and they would return to her and come back with it. We sent lice treatment with the children to their mother's
house. Chelsea even told the health dept. nurse that her mother would not treat it. They also did not have any
running water in their house as their water was shut off due to non payment, for several months both on Hedge's St. and on
Bertley St. The children had sores on their heads from scratching so much. Tanisha Phelps, Chairton County DSS
worker, told us that it was not detrimental to their health! Raw sores on the scalp is not a detrimental issue?
What about infection from the finger nails?
